About Us

History

Our story as A Tribe Called Queens starts in 2018, but we go way back....

In 2018, four friends (sisters) bound by love, were on a quick getaway trip. During this trip, we discussed how we wished this life bond between the four of us could be shared with other women all over the world.

During our entire time as friends, we’ve haad each other to hold one another up. How could we assist women navigate through the ups and downs of life and get resources? Each one of us are mother, sisters, business owners, and champions of others. This vision first brought to the group by Georgette Littlejohn – turning our love for women into the ultimate support group – brought the idea to Justina Xavier, Luana Hodges, and Erica Davis. Wen coming up with the name, our only requirements were that it should represent our “tribe vibe” and thus….A Tribe Called Queens was born.

So although the journey of A Tribe Called Queens began less than 5 years ago, we have been friends for over 20 years. Our love for one another is ethereal and our bond is strong. Iron sharpens iron. We have literally been there for each other through thick and thin and are joining together, pulling our resources, and knowledge together with professionals and licensed therapists to share with women all over the world.
